Play Ball!!!

Two cakes I did this for a 1st birthday (notice the smash cake) and another for a friend's son's Little League team party.

65th Birthday Cake

This one wa sfor my friend Elaine's Mom's 65th birthday.

Hula Cake

Frgot to post this one. I did this for a little girl's birthday poolparty with a Hawaiin Luau theme. Not bad...and the Mom loved it.

Castle Cake

This was a sort of last minute order. I had done castle cakes (a la Disney Princess theme) before but not for a boy (think Knights and Dragons). I searched the web and came across a few pictures. I think that my final version turned out pretty well. Here are a few photos. And here is a quote from the Mom of the Birthday Boy.
Patti ~

Just a quick note that everyone LOVED the cake! many many compliments on it. Evan was THRILLED. thank you sooooooo much for the hard work on somewhat short notice.

TONS of Kids Cakes

It seems like I have been bombarded with orders lately for birthday cakes. Here are a few of the really cutes ones I have done.

USMC Grooms Cake/Chessboard

These are pictures of a Marine Corps themed chess board I did for a grooms cake for a wedding recently. I think it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself!!

Here is another good one I did for a baby shower

The baby shower had a ladybug/bumblebee theme. Kind of unique. It was fun and they oohed and aaahhed when I delivered it.

Tea for Mama Phoebe

Yesterday we held a tea at church to welcome the wife of our Archbishop from Uganda. It was going to be very fancy and I was asked to create a special cake for the occassion. This is the cake that I made. I think it turned out very well and I received several compliments, as well as a new customer as a result.
ps- I purposely cut the lower right corner of the cake out of the picture when I took it...I was carrying the cake in form my car and I caught the corner with my nametag..yikes. It doctored it a bit on site, and no one noticed.

Belated Valentine's Cake

Here is picture of a Valentine cake I made this past weekend for a Progressive Dinner for my Moms Group. It was 4 layers of chocolate cake with a raspberry filling and iced in chocolate ganache with little hearts piped from candy melts.
